Here is more about the upcoming Batman sequel. David S. Goyer has stated that he and Nolan have loosely discussed themes and ideas.“We have mused here and there, but I mean Chris is pretty much a one movie at a time kind of guy,” he said. “I wish I could tell you more. There really isn’t anything to tell,” he added.
Goyer has thrown out rumors that the film will start pre-production in 2009 and has also said that the possible casting of Johnny Depp as The Riddler and Philip Seymour Hoffman as The Penguin are just a rumor and have nothing solid to support these claims.
“If and when Chris is ready to talk, we’ll talk,” said Goyer.
So Batman 3 or “The Caped Crusader”, which people are saying it will be called, really has nothing new in facts but still a lot of rumors that keep the internet buzzing about the upcoming sequel.

I was searching for Batman 3 rumors and found your post. Hadn't heard the one about Depp- hope it's true. Very hard to believe they haven't started work on Bats 3already. Nice site. Will check back for any superhero movie news.
