Prepare Yourself For Friday the 13th

The Internet was very lucky today when the first high-res look at the brand new Friday the 13th teaser poster was released. The poster was originally debuted at this past weekend's San Diego Comic-Con.
The new Friday the 13th will be a re-boot of the franchise. The movie is being directing by Marcus Nispel (who is well know for The Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake) and written by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift (writers of Freddy VS Jason).
The movie's plot is as follows ... After the supposed death of her son at a summer camp, a mother begins to kill the camp employees. After her death at the hands of the remaining employees, her son returns to continue her bloody work.
According to Internet Movie Database there was only a few details released about the movie to get the fans excited.
1.) The film is meant to stand on it's own with a definitive ending. It's not intended to have a sequel, nor is it part of a trilogy, although they are open to doing a sequel.
2.) Director Marcus Nispel did direct multiple endings.
3.) This is not an origin movie, but it does explore Jason's childhood and Mrs. Voorhees is in it. It apparently combines the best elements of Friday the 13th's 2 through 4.
4.) Jason will be fast and smart in this movie. Instead of chasing people around; he set's people up.
A trailer was released to the comic-con audience and was leaked online, but were all taken done. When it's officially released on the Internet I will post it.
Friday the 13th will hit theaters Friday, Feb. 13, 2009!

They are actually making another one of these. I mean Jason X was the worst and Freddy Vs. Jason was only half good. They need to do different things.
