The Bat Takes The Lead From The Mummy

“The Dark Knight” once again takes the top spot at the box office, after it fell into second place Friday.
It was reported that on Friday “The Dark Knight” trailed behind “The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor” by $3 million. It wasn’t until Saturday and Sunday that “The Dark Knight” once again had a sudden surge in ticket sales and quickly gained the lead back.
“The Dark Knight” took the top spot for the weekend with $43 million and “The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor” came in second with $42 million.
These numbers are only estimates and “The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor” can still be crowned number one, because only a million separates the two films. We won’t know for sure until the studios give out the official figures on Monday.

The Mummy was one of the worst movie's this summer. I wasted both my time and money watching it. How it got that much money is beyond me.
